About Westgate Bakery
Westgate Bakery is a licensed artisan bakery and café on Grantham's Market Place, opened in July 2024 by chef Adebola Adeshina of the Heritage Social group. Everything is made on site, from sourdough and pastries to cakes and an all-day brunch and lunch menu. Bread is taken seriously here, with naturally leavened loaves a highlight. Signature bakes include sourdough, croissants, pastries and brunch.
We do not yet hold confirmed opening times for Westgate Bakery. Independent bakeries often sell out and close early, so check before you travel. The Food Standards Agency register lists a hygiene rating of 4/5, awarded on 4 August 2026 by South Kesteven.
The nearest public transport is Grantham station, about 11 minutes away on foot (0.4 mi). It is not the only option nearby: there are 2 more bakeries within a kilometre, so a bakery crawl is easily done.
